KUCHING, June 4: Being in public places beyond 10pm tops the standard operating procedures (SOPs) violations during the current Movement Control Period (MCO).
According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a press statement today, a total of 17 compounds were issued throughout the state for the offense.
Apart from that, carrying passengers exceeding the permissible limit also saw a total of 14 compounds issued, followed by cross-district traveling without permit (5), operating a non-essential premise (5), and failure to wear facemask (4).
Other SOP violations include being inside a premise beyond the time limit during MCO (3), failure to practice social distancing (3), failure to update the customer registration book (2), failure to scan the MySejahtera application (1) and entering an area where Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) is being implemented without permission (1).
Meanwhile, SDMC said a total of four compounds were also issued by the local government authority.
Among the offenses compounded are failure to update registration book (2), failure to scan the MySejahtera application (1), and allowing customers to dine-in (1). ā DayakDaily
