KUCHING, Nov 3: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) candidate for Stampin (P196) Lo Khere Chiang has the confidence to “win against anybody” in the 15th General Election (GE15).
He was also confident that Sarawakians would be united to ensure GPS’ total victory in all 31 parliamentary seats in Sarawak.
“I have confidence in GPS this time, against anybody.
“GPS will win all the seats this time because Sarawak has to be united in our quest to demand for our rights to protect Sarawak from the clutches of Malaya,” he said.
Lo was responding to question from reporters asking whether he has the confidence to win against Stampin incumbent and Sarawak Democratic Action Party (DAP) heavyweight Chong Chieng Jen.
Meanwhile, Lo also reiterated that GPS is not contesting under the arms of Umno or Pakatan Harapan (PH)
“This time, it’s not about Umno, not about PH. We are not under any of their arms. It’s all about GPS,” he said after the reveal of GPS’ candidates in GE15 at Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) headquarters here today.
Lo, who wears many hats, is also Batu Kitang assemblyman and Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) chairman. — DayakDaily
