KUCHING, June 17: The Lions Club of District 308A2 Region 1 Scholarship application now open.
District 308 A2 Region 1 Lions Club in a statement today said the scholarship is open for students who have completed their SPM or STPM from Sarawak to receive financial support for their tertiary education.
“The award is valued at a total of RM20,000 for the duration of the course,” it said.
Interested candidates are advised to submit their applications before the deadline of Saturday, July 1 and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
The application form can be downloaded from the Region 1 Lions Facebook page or directly from this link.
Printed copies of the form are also available from the Lions Nursing Home at Jalan Stutong Baru, Kuching, and Klinik Rakyat at No 8 Jalan Petanak, Kuching.
Applications should be submitted in hard copy to the Region 1 Lions Scholarship Committee, c/o Klinik Rakyat, No 8 Jalan Petanak, 93100 Kuching, Sarawak.
