KUCHING, June 26: Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) applicants in Sarawak and Sabah can submit their application forms and all supporting documents through the Drop Box services provided by the Inland Revenue Board Malaysia (LHDN) branch offices, satellite offices and Revenue Service Center (PKH) as well as nearby district offices.

According to LHDN in a statement today, the Drop Box service is provided until the last date of the appeal application, which is on June 30, 2021.

“This initiative was taken to facilitate for the BPR appeal application in Sarawak and Sabah, for those who have the difficulties in appealing for the BPR through online services, and at the same time ensuring the standard operating procedures (SOPs) compliance set by the government to curb the spread of Covid-19 through district crossing,” it said.

LHDN pointed out that through this method, the applicants only need to put their BPR appeal form, including the support documentations, into the Drop Box which was provided during office hours.

“Applicants are also reminded to staple their appeal form and documentations together in one envelope before putting it into the Drop Box, in order to avoid mixing it with other applicants’ documentations,” the statement added.

The operating hour for BPR appeal counters in LHDN branches offices, satellite offices and PKH 3.0 is only through an appointment made at BPR official website, from 8am until 12pm (based on normal working hours in every state).
