KUCHING, May 29: The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) has announced that all service counters in Sarawak will be closed in conjunction with the Gawai Dayak celebration, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s Birthday, and related public holidays. Operations will resume on June 5, 2025, after which it will follow the new operating hours that will take effect nationwide starting June 1, 2025.

In a statement, LHDN said the revised operating hours are part of its ongoing efforts to improve service efficiency and enhance the customer experience. The adjustments were made based on patterns of public visits and aimed at optimising resource allocation while maintaining customer-centric service.
