KUCHING, Feb 23: The left turn exiting from Jalan Stutong after SJK Chung Hua No. 2 to Jalan Kuching towards Kuching city is temporarily closed until March 8 to facilitate road upgrading works as part of Kuching-Samarahan Expressway upgrading project.
In an advisory notice, the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak Samarahan Division informed that motorists may make a left turn at the traffic light intersection as indicated by the blue arrow shown on the map above.
Motorists are thus advised to be extra careful when approaching and travelling along the stretch and to comply with all traffic management instructions until the road works have been completed.
Road users are also encouraged to plan their journey ahead to their destinations to avoid any traffic delays.
JKR Sarawak Samarahan Division apologised for any inconvenience caused, and will update the public should there be any changes in the date, time or area involved with the road upgrading and repair works.
