SIBU, Oct 28: The last day of operation for the Covid-19 Assessment Centre (CAC) at the Sibu Indoor Stadium is tomorrow. (October 29).

The Sibu Division Covid-19 Immunisation Special Task Force (CITF) said in a statement today that the CAC’s operations would be relocated elsewhere, namely the Permai Community Clinic and Lanang Health Clinic.

CAC operations at the Sibu Jaya Health Clinic and CAC UCTS Hostel however, will still operate as usual, including on Saturdays and on public holidays from 8am to 5pm.

This is intended to make it easier for patients to get to a CAC which is closer to their home.

Additionally, the Sibu Indoor Stadium Vaccination Centre will resume operations effective November 2, 2021.

Individuals who have received appointment notifications for Covid-19 vaccinations on Oct 29 to 31 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) are required to come to the Vaccination Centre at the civic centre to get the vaccine.

All appointments are made through the MySejahtera mobile app.

The public is also reminded to be on time, that is to arrive 15 to 30 minutes earlier in addition to complying with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set and bring an Identity Card or identification document and a mobile phone with the MySejahtera application.

Prospective vaccine recipients who are unhealthy or persons-under-investigation (PUI), had recent close contact with Covid-19 patients or persons-under-surveillance (PUS) are not allowed to attend.

In addition, only one person is allowed to accompany the recipient on the day of vaccination. — DayakDaily
