KUCHING, Oct 11: Sarawak’s very first Borneo Corporate Innovation Summit (BCIS) is only two days away.

The one-day event is jointly organised by Sunway College Kuching and Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (Tegas), also powered by Sunway’s ecosystem partners namely Sunway Innovation Labs (iLabs) at Sunway University and Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute (Asli).
Other than the launching ceremony which is to be officiated by Tegas chairman cum Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Urban Development Datuk Len Talif Salleh, there will also be three keynote presentations and three interactive panel sessions running from 10am to 4pm.
Among the many accomplished speakers invited are Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) chief scientist and chief advisor Prof Judgutt (Jack) Singh, Sunway Berhad chief innovation officer Matt Van Leeuwen, 42 Kuala Lumpur (42KL) and Sunway FutureXTalent head Jeffvinder Singh Sandhu, and Cahya Mata Sarawak head of innovation and commercialisation Dr Ng Sing Kwei.
The topics of discussion will revolve around data and innovation driven economy, the future of business and new market trends, ways to build innovation friendly corporate strategy and transform Borneo for sustainable development, and the future of work through talent building.
