KUCHING, Sept 26: The Sarawak Land and Survey Department Kuching Division’s land registration section is temporarily closed from today until Oct 3 (Friday).
In a notice issued today, this is due to unavoidable operational and technical disruptions.
“All related matters may be carried out online through the e-Lasis website and the Mobile Lasis application, which can be downloaded via Google Play or the App Store on your smartphone or computer,” said the department.
Those with questions can channel them via email to the department at landsurvey@sarawak.gov.my.
Earlier today, a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) stated that a fire broke out in the department’s office, causing it to sustain approximately 10 per cent damage due to water and smoke damage. — DayakDaly
