KUCHING, Jan 10: The Sarawak Land and Survey Department (JTS) has clarified that it has never appointed any individual or agent as a third party for land lot applications.
In a media statement released today, the department said on January 8 it had detected the activity of land lot application services offered via social media platforms by a certain individual.
“Land lot applications for residential purposes can only be done online via e-LASIS. Meanwhile, for land applications for other purposes, JTS has provided forms that can be downloaded for free from the department’s website.”
In this regard, the department advised the public to contact any nearby JTS office directly if they wish to apply for a residential land lot or other uses.
If the public comes across any party offering such services, they are advised to contact their nearest JTS office or email landsurvey@sarawak.gov.my. — DayakDaily
