KUCHING, July 16: The Ministry of Education (MOE) will work with the Sarawak Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD) to address education issues in Sarawak.
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) yesterday (July 15), Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said this to reporters after receiving a courtesy visit from MEITD led by Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn in Putrajaya on Friday (July 14).
Among the matters discussed during the courtesy visit involved current issues faced by schools in Sarawak, particularly in terms of the lack of teachers, infrastructure, and facilities, including educational programmes that affected the standard of education in Sarawak.
Also present were MEITD deputy ministers Datuk Dr Annuar Rapa’ee and Datuk Francis Harden Hollis. — DayakDaily
