A search on the duo led to the discovery of two transparent plastic packets containing suspected methamphetamine weighing 5.54g and 1.48g respectively, carrying an estimated market value of RM772.

“Both suspects subsequently tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine during initial urine screenings, and police checks showed that each had one prior criminal record,” read the statement.
