KUCHING, Nov 26: Kuala Rajang’s youth received a boost through continuous education aid designed to ease families’ burdens and support further studies.
Deputy Minister of Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment of Sarawak Datuk Len Talif Salleh explained that the incentives aim to support high-achieving students advance into tertiary education.
“This assistance is not seasonal, but rather a long-term initiative to ease the burden on families and to produce quality human capital,” he said according to a report from Sarawak Public Commmunications Unit (UKAS) today.
He also said parents of students who have achieved strong results and gained admission to tertiary institutions are invited to apply through the Kuala Rajang Service Centre.
Len Talif explained that the cash assistance applies not just to Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) students, but to all students who have secured places in public or private higher learning institutions.
“There is no application deadline. Any student who receives an offer can immediately submit their application to us,” he said.
