KUCHING, May 11: A Bidayuh village, three more longhouses have been placed under Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) while the order has been lifted from five locations in the Central Region.

Bidayuh village Kampung Tebedu Mawang in Serian has been placed under EMCO apart from Rumah Jaggie in Kabo, Betong district which has been under EMCO from May 9 to 22 while Rumah Mengga in Ulu Sungai Salim, Sibu and Rumah Sangga in Sungai Ngayah, Selangau will see the order enforced from tomorrow to 25.

Meanwhile, the EMCO for five premises was been lifted today, comprising a school in Balingian, two longhouses in Julau and two longhouses in Bintulu.

The EMCO on SMK Ulu Balingian ends today while Rumah Awit in Nanga Mujok and Rumah Terrance Tarang in Nanga Selaut Ili, both in Julau, will see an easing in preventive Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Rumah Tiut, Sungai Setulan in Tatau and Rumah Mujah Atin of Bintulu also see their EMCO end today. — DayakDaily
