Organising chairman Pastor Greman Ujang shared that this year’s parade will carry the theme ‘Jesus My Redeemer’ and is expected to surpass last year’s participation of over 1,000 people.

The parade will cover a route starting at Dewan Perniagaan Batu 7, passing landmarks such as Public Bank Batu 7, the Batu 7 Market, and Chan Furniture Kota Sentosa, before looping back to the starting point.

In line with the theme, attendees are encouraged to wear blue attire to enhance the parade’s festive atmosphere.

Paster Greman reminded those who wanted to attend to bring along essential items like umbrellas, torchlights, and water bottles to ensure comfort during the event, which will run until 10pm.

“During the parade, we will (be singing) Christmas carols, share holiday cheers by wishing bystanders a Merry Christmas, and distribute gifts (to people),” Pastor Greman said during a press conference at the Christ Baptist Church, Kota Sentosa today.

Participants can park at the 7th Mile Basketball Mini Stadium or other nearby public parking areas.

Dignitaries including Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap and Padawan Municipal Council chairman Tan Kai are expected to grace the occasion.

The KSCP is organised by the Sarawak Evangelical Christian Association (SECA) with support from the Association of Churches Sarawak (ACS). — DayakDaily
