KUCHING, April 21: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah spent time visiting and buying food at the Satok Ramadan Bazaar this afternoon after arriving at the Kuching International Airport (KIA) today for a two-day visit to Sarawak.
Their Majesties were welcomed by Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah upon arrival at the bazaar this afternoon.
The presence of the royal couple was warmly received by the bazaar’s food vendors and visitors.
Meanwhile, the King and Queen are scheduled to attend an iftar (breaking of fast) event at Jamek Mosque here later today, where they will present contributions to 30 recipients. — DayakDaily
