KUCHING, May 27: The MySejahtera app may soon allow those who register to choose their choice of Covid-19 vaccine.
National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (Pick) coordinating minister Khairy Jamaluddin disclosed that the app is currently being updated and he will make the announcement in a couple of weeks.
“Malaysia is on track to receive significant shipments of various vaccines this coming June and July. Since the app is being updated, it may include a new feature where recipients can choose which vaccine they prefer.
“We are working out on the method to do this on MySejahtera app and the website,” he said, adding that with this feature, he strongly believed it will encourage more people to register in the vaccination programme.
He also said that apart from choosing the type of vaccine, they are also looking into recipients being able to choose appointment date and venue. — DayakDaily
