Kg Emparoh Garung gets RM100k for new bridge project

KUCHING, Oct 7: Mambong assemblyman Datuk Dr Jerip Susil has facilitated the allocation of RM100,000 towards a new bridge project in Kampung Emperoh Garung to replace the existing one.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the funding is allocated under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) for the year 2020.

Today, special administrative officer to Dr Jerip, Keron Mapus and a representative from Public Works Department (JKR) Kuching Division William Kunyang visited the proposed site, to identify the location as well as facilitate the cost estimation and bill quantity (BQ) for the project for JKR.


The report said the project will be implemented in the near future after the necessary technical work is completed before holding an open tender for a contractor. – DayakDaily
