LUBOK ANTU, Nov 8: A total of RM20,000 was allocated to the Lubok Antu Kemas office as an effort to transform early childhood education.

The allocation was presented by Lubok Antu MP Jugah Muyang during the Kemas kindergarten appreciation ceremony, today.

He emphasised that the fund was to help strengthen the early childhood education level in order to produce a balanced generation according to future needs and challenges.

In addition, he also contributed RM3,000 to each 27 Kemas kindergartens and childcare centres in the Lubok Antu parliamentary area.

Earlier in his speech, Jugah advised parents to play their role seriously at home in order to help develop their children at the early age.

Although some parents were both working, he pointed out it should not be an excuse for them not to monitor their children’s education at home.

“I would like to advise the parents to always play their role at home and monitor their children development,” he said.

Jugah expressed appreciation to see parents’ participation and cooperation towards Kemas in both classroom learning and outdoor activities.

He said the activities and programmes planned were the best platform for connecting the kindergartens with the parents in ensuring their children educational success.— DayakDaily
