SIBU, March 16: A 22-year-old youth succumbed to injuries after losing control of his motorcycle at Jalan Lanang today.
Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department head Supt Alexson Naga Chabu in a statement revealed the deceased was from Rumah Uho in Sungai Ibau, Kapit.
“The incident occurred at 3.05am today, when the victim, who was riding along Jalan Lanang heading towards the Sibu city centre, lost control of his motorcycle and this led to the accident,” he added.
The victim, who was wearing a full face motorcycle helmet during the incident, was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The case is still under investigation. — DayakDaily
