KUCHING, July 15: Kapit MP Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi is hoping for the Baleh-Kapit Raft Safari event to be included in the Sarawak Tourism calendar.
In a Facebook post today, Nanta said it would help in promoting and highlighting Sarawak culture, customs, including traditional dance and foods.

According to him, the recent 26th edition of Baleh-Kapit Raft Safari event that was held at Rh Lucy in Nanga Lanang, Sungai Tekalit in Song, was livelier than ever.
He also said the annual eco-tourism program is eagerly awaited by locals and tourists who also participate in the various activities carried out.

“Among the programs that draw attention are men’s and women’s bamboo raft competitions, rowing boats, team kayaks and decorated rafts.
