Kapit-level Sarawakku Sayang Programme set for Jul 10-12 to feature exhibitions, community activities

KUCHING, Mar 7: The Kapit Division Sarawakku Sayang Programme 2026, is scheduled to take place from July 10 to 12 at the Kapit Civic Centre compound.

Kapit MP, Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, said this in a Facebook post following a coordination meeting on the programme at the Kapit Division Resident’s Office on Friday (Mar 6).

“The programme will feature a variety of activities, including official ceremonies and a major exhibition on Sarawak’s development, service counters by government departments and related agencies, sales booths by local entrepreneurs, as well as Sarawak Kitchen.

“It will also include various community activities such as traditional sports, competitions, and community stage performances,” he said.

Nanta, who is also the Works Minister, said the programme is expected to strengthen the relationship between the government and the people while also providing information on development initiatives and services to the local community. — DayakDaily
