“At around 10.15am, the search and rescue (SAR) team found the body. The family has confirmed that it was Tuah Bujang,” he said.

The SAR operation is ongoing to locate Aiman.

On Wednesday, at around 2pm, Aiman and Tuah went out to sea in Kabong to fish. By 5pm, heavy rain and rough waves had set in.

Both could no longer be contacted, leading to a police report being lodged at the Kabong Police Station on Thursday (Sept 4) at 6.49am to request search and rescue assistance.

Their boat was discovered drifting 5.5 nautical miles from the shoreline that day. — DayakDaily
