SEBUYAU, Dec 30: Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi has been re-elected as Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Sebuyau Branch Chief for the 2024-2027 term.
According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), the announcement was made during the PBB Sebuyau Branch Delegates Meeting held recently, chaired by Sarawak Deputy Premier and PBB deputy president, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.
Over 750 members attended the meeting, which also saw Mohd Nayseruddin Borhan appointed as PBB Sebuyau Youth Chief and Lilawati Berahim as the Women’s Wing Chief. New committee members for the branch’s Women and Youth Wings were also elected.
In his address, Awang Tengah urged members to remain committed to driving progress and staying connected with grassroots communities to ensure the party’s longevity and success.
He also highlighted the upcoming PBB Convention in February 2025, expressing optimism about achieving more development milestones in the year ahead.
The meeting concluded with the symbolic inauguration of the PBB Sebuyau Branch Delegates Meeting for the new term by Awang Tengah.
Among the dignitaries present were the assistant information chief of PBB Women’s Wing, Datuk Rubiah Wang; Supreme Council Members, Dayang Noorazah Awang Sohor, Mohamad Duri, Razaili Gapor, and Awangku Jinal Abedin Dato Pangeran Jaya; as well as PBB executive secretary, Datuk Awang Bujang Awang Antek. — DayakDaily
