KUCHING, Dec 9: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) has an ongoing development policy and agenda for Sebuyau, said N27 Sebuyau incumbent Datuk Julaihi Narawi.
According to a report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, Julaihi, who is also the GPS candidate for Sebuyau in the coming 12th Sarawak Election, said that is why residents in Sebuyau, especially the voters, need to put their support and confidence in the GPS leadership.
“We already have a structured policy and agenda that we are implementing that will have a great impact and benefits for the people, especially in rural areas and Sebuyau,” he said.
Meanwhile, responding to a questions from reporters on him facing a three-cornered fight in Sebuyau for the coming 12th State Election, Julaihi said the people can see and evaluate for themselves the work that has been carried out during his tenure as their representative, so much so he was nominated to defend the Sebuyau state seat.
“We work all the time and we can see how Sebuyau has changed significantly compared to the past.”
He added the proof that GPS is striving for wellbeing of the people in Sebuyau and the constituency is the big projects which are currently being carried out such as the 25km Sebangan-Sebuyau Sea Wall Project, Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) Water Project, housing project, Village Expansion Scheme (SPK) in Kampung Bandar Baru Sebuyau (235 units of affordable houses to be built), Sebuyau-Lingga Road Project, Batang Lupar Bridge, and many others.
At the same time, Julaihi also hoped that the people of Sebuyau would be able to use their voting power maturely and carefully on the polling day to ensure the wellbeing of the State, especially in Sebuyau constituency. — DayakDaily
