KUCHING, Dec 24: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) Sarawak has clarified that it has never appointed any individual or agent to manage motorcycle auctions, contrary to a viral claim circulating online.

In a news report by TVS, JPJ Sarawak addressed the misinformation, which claimed that the department had designated certain individuals to handle online motorcycle auctions.

“For the record, JPJ Sarawak has not appointed any individual or agent to oversee motorcycle auctions as claimed in the viral post,” the statement said.

The public is urged not to spread false information and to verify the accuracy of any details received.
