He said, Sarawak is an excellent example due to the effectiveness of implementing the state vision, resource management, and planned strategic development.

“The Regent of Johor’s decree calls on the Johor government to emulate Sarawak’s approach, especially in ensuring that every work is carried out systematically, effectively, and has a positive impact on the people,” he said.

Onn Hafiz emphasised that by emulating Sarawak, Johor hopes to strengthen state development holistically, in line with the aspirations of the people and the decree of the Tuanku.

Recently, the Federal Government allocated an allocation of RM11.43 billion for this year to implement new construction projects and upgrade public facilities in Johor.

Of this amount, RM10.24 billion has been allocated specifically for the pre-construction phase and construction of various strategic projects that will be the core of modern and competitive infrastructure development.
