KUCHING, April 13: Lorong 47 of Stampin Baru Road here has been permanently closed starting today (April 13) until April 30, 2024.
Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) revealed this in an announcement today.
In the meantime, JKR Sarawak advised road users who wish to access Lorong 28A to use the newly constructed temporary route.
“Road users may also use Lorong 24 towards Lorong 30 to access Lorong 28. Any inconveniences caused are much regretted,” it said.
JKR Sarawak explained that the road closure is to ensure public safety while the bridge construction is ongoing. — DayakDaily
