KUCHING, Aug 1: Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak has announced an extension of the temporary road closure on Jalan Betong, specifically between Jalan Terentang and Simpang Lidong, in Betong Division.
The closure, initially planned for a shorter duration, will now continue from July 31 until Aug 31, 2024.
This extended closure is necessary to facilitate ongoing construction work on the culvert (Culvert B4B).
For any inquiries related to traffic flow during the construction period, the public is encouraged to contact the JKR Betong Division office during office hours at 083-472101. The designated contact person is Muhammad Kashral Kamalmirza.
JKR Sarawak further emphasised the importance of safety and advised the public to be mindful of the construction zone. — DayakDaily
