KUCHING, March 25: The Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak has denied issuing or circulating a ‘Checklist for Vehicle Damage Compensation Claims’ document, which has recently gone viral on social media.
In a statement today, JKR Sarawak clarified that the document is not from the department and urged the public to refrain from sharing unverified information.
“The public is advised not to disseminate inaccurate content and to refer only to JKR Sarawak’s official channels for accurate and up-to-date information,” it said.
Members of the public who have been affected and wish to lodge complaints or seek further information can do so through the department’s official platforms, including its Facebook page at Jabatan Kerja Raya Sarawak, customer service portal at https://talikhidmat.sarawak.gov.my, JKR Sarawak Care Whatsapp at +60 11-7017 1777, and email at corporatejkr@gmail.com.
