KUCHING, July 19: A 46-year-old motorcyclist lost his life after colliding with a four-wheel-drive (4WD) truck at KM11, Jalan Selangau-Mukah this afternoon.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received the alert at 1.39pm and immediately deployed a team to the scene.
According to a statement from the State Bomba operations centre, upon arrival, the team discovered that the driver and the passenger of the 4WD truck had received minor injuries from the accident.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by medical officers.
The deceased’s body was later handed to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
