KUCHING, Oct 12: Jalan Datuk Amar Kalong Ningkan here will be temporarily closed at night for 23 days starting tomorrow (Oct 13) until Nov 5, 2021.
The Public Works Department (JKR) in a statement today said the temporary closure of the road will start from 8pm until 5am daily throughout the period to allow heavy machinery operators to carry out their job at the site.
The department has assured that the road will be opened as soon as possible once the road maintenance work is completed to facilitate traffic movement.
Road users are advised to follow the signage provided, cooperate with the traffic controller in the area and plan their travel routes properly during the closure period.
JKR Kuching said it will inform the public if there are any changes to the date and the area with regards to road maintenance.
