MIRI, August 22: More than 100 police personnel of various ranks and departments converged at Surau Al-Taqwa at the police headquarters here today to mark the Hari Raya Haji celebration.
The event kicked off with prayers at the surau at 7.30am.
Three cows were slaughtered in conjunction with the occasion and the meat distributed among those present and the needy.
Also present were Miri police chief, ACP Lim Meng Seah, his deputy DSP Mohd Sabri and other department heads of the Miri police force. — DayakDaily
