KUCHING, Dec 1: Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sarawak vows to win more seats in the coming 13th Sarawak Election (PRN13) in the interest of Sarawakians.
Its chairman Chong Chieng Jen said over the years, Sarawakians have benefited from the presence of a stronger opposition in the State.
According to him, when DAP Sarawak was at its strongest in the late 2000s and early 2010s, better land policies were introduced and Sarawak landowners enjoyed better land rights.
He added that there was more transparency and accountability in the State government’s administration and policies.
“Our leaders and members must always be mindful that the interest of Sarawak comes before all others,” said Chong at the DAP Sarawak Ordinary Convention 2024 held recently. — DayakDaily
