KUCHING, Nov 15: Local leaders advocating Sarawak’s independence is organising an “In Quest of Independence” Dinner on Dec 7 at the Red Dragon Cafe, Bau, at 6.30 pm.
The dinner will be moderated by Freedy Misid who is the organising chairman.
The three speakers for the dinner are Parti Bumi Kenyalang president Voon Lee Shan, who is also former Batu Lintang assemblyman, former deputy president of the deregistered Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDS Baru) Patrick Anek Uren and Sarawak Association for People’s Aspiration (Sapa) president Dominique Ng, who is also former Padungan assemblyman.
Ng, a native customary rights (NCR) land lawyer, will be touching on NCR land matter and how Sarawak’s independence may end the plight of native land issues.
After the speeches, there will be a Question and Answer session with the panels.
For the evening, a table of 10 will cost RM350 and those interested are reminded to buy the tickets by the end of November. — DayakDaily
