MIRI, August 3: Miri City Council is offering lucky-draw prizes worth more than RM40,000 to reward those who pay their 2018 assessment rates before Sept 30.
Deputy mayor Julaihi Mohammad, when met at the setting up of the assessment rate lucky draw billboard at Telang Usan’s roundabout this morning, said the draw would be conducted sometime this October.
“It is not only for residential owners but commercial property owners, too,” he pointed out, adding that this was the first time the council was holding such an event.
“Those who pay their assessment rate before Sept 30 this year are entitled to participate in the draw,” said Julaihi.
He said banners and another billboard would be put up near the Kampung Lereng Bukit roundabout. — DayakDaily
