KUCHING, Oct 11: A fire partially destroyed a house in Taman Matang Jaya, Kuching, this afternoon.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation center reported receiving a call about the incident at 4.11pm.

Bomba Petra Jaya was immediately dispatched to the scene.
The fire involved a single-storey terrace house, which was 90 per cent damaged by flames. The house next door also suffered minor damage to the ceiling of its car porch.
No casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire and the extent of the losses are still under investigation. — DayakDaily
