KUCHING, June 27: One person was injured when a house located at Kampung Bahagia Sibu caught fire on Saturday afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was contacted at 4.28 pm and a team was deployed to the scene.
According to the Bomba report, there were four tenants at the house when the fire happened.
One of the tenants suffered injuries on her leg when she was fleeing from the fire and was later sent to the hospital for treatment by the public.
The Bomba team managed to put out the fire which destroyed 80 per cent of the house and ended their operation at 5.47 pm. -DayakDaily
