KUCHING, Dec 23: Three lucky grand prize winners of H&L Supermarket’s 63rd anniversary ‘Grab All You Can’ contest swept up goods totalling nearly RM12,000 today.
Taking place at H&L Xtra at Eco Mall in Petra Jaya here, the three winning teams raced around the supermarket to fill their two trolleys each with as many items and goods as possible, except from the electrical and tobacco section, in five minutes.
Yong Tze Siong and wife snagged over RM5,403 worth of goods off the shelves, while Mohd Saidi and wife managed to fill their shopping carts with RM3,298 worth of groceries and Eric Jonathan bagged RM3,111 in items.
The shopping spree through H&L Xtra was capped at RM20,000 per winner.
The ‘Grab All You Can’ Contest ran from September to November offering RM63,000 worth of prizes. Participants only have to purchase a minimum of RM63 in a single receipt to enter the contest.
Meanwhile, H&L also gave away RM100 e-vouchers to 30 winners in the contest. — Dayakdaily
