KUCHING, Oct 29: The information circulating on social media regarding a purported People’s Housing project to be built from Kampung Segedup to Kampung Sungai Maong is incorrect and unfounded.
The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) clarified that the ongoing project in that area is the Village Expansion Scheme (SPK) initiated by the Land and Survey Department.
“This is not a housing project under HDC, as has been mentioned and circulated in social media,” the Corporation stated in a press statement today.
HDC urged the public to refrain from spreading this inaccurate information to prevent confusion within the community.
