KUCHING, Feb 17: Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has approved a RM660,000 housing loan for the construction of a new longhouse in Ulu Paku, Spaoh.
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the loan which was allocated by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government.
The loan approval was facilitated by HDC for the purchase of materials to build a new longhouse for residents of the 22-door Rumah Mendit Unsu Penom in a new location.
The loan was handed over to the longhouse residents by HDC assistant administrative officer Asmah Ahmad during a recent ceremony. — DayakDaily
