MIRI, May 16: A hardware store owner sustained injuries to his neck following an attack by a man with a machete who is believed to be mentally unsound.
The incident took place after the victim pursued the suspect who was just exited his hardware store in Tudan with the machete which had not been paid for.
The victim was slashed on the neck with the machete as he was attempting to stop the suspect.
The bloody scene shocked members of the public who immediately informed the police. A mobile police vehicle was immediately despatched to the scene. — DayakDaily
