KUCHING, March 6: Temporary half-road closures will be in effect from March 9 to 23 on two key routes in Kuching, from Kenyalang roundabout towards Mile 4 ½ on Jalan Datuk Bandar Mustapha Road (BDC R/A – JKR Depot), and from Jalan Datuk Amar Kalong Ningkan heading towards the 3rd Mile roundabout.
In a advisory notice, Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak stated that the closures are to facilitate road repair works.
The authorities have advised motorists to exercise caution, follow safety signs, and plan their journeys ahead to avoid traffic congestion during this period.
The temporary closures are part of ongoing efforts to improve road conditions and ensure safer travel for the public.
