SIBU, Aug 5: The Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak has announced two road closures along Salim Road here for tree cutting on Aug 6 and 7.
In two separate notices today, JKR Sarawak said the first road stretch is located near the Bukit Lima roundabout entering Salim Road, of which the road closure will start 8am onwards tomorrow (Aug 6).
Meanwhile, the second road stretch is located opposite the Perodua Service Centre Sibu – Ngu Chung Beng & Sons Corporation Sdn Bhd starting 8am onwards on Aug 7.
Road users are advised to exercise caution when passing through the construction area and to adhere to the safety signs provided.
