KUCHING, Feb 24: Half of the roads in both directions of Jalan Wan Alwi in Tabuan will be closed starting tomorrow (Feb 25) until March 18 from 9pm to 4am to facilitate road works involving the Setia Raja Tabuan roundabout as part of the Jalan Kuching-Samarahan Expressway upgrading project.
In an advisory notice, the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak Samarahan Division advised motorists to be extra careful when approaching and travelling along the stretch and to comply with all traffic management instructions until the road works have been completed.
Road users are also encouraged to plan their journey towards their destinations as some traffic delays can be expected.
JKR Sarawak Samarahan Division apologised for any inconvenience caused and will update the public should there be any changes in the date, time or area involved with the road upgrading and repair works.
