KUCHING, May 14: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) will hold a pre-council meeting tomorrow to deliberate on Bills and other related matters in preparation for the coming Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting from May 17 to May 26, 2022.

Utilities and Telecommunications Minister Datuk Julaihi Narawi confirmed this to the reporters during a Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at Grand Margherita Hotel today.

Following this, he also mentioned that all elected representatives should have receive their notice on the DUN sitting much earlier.

“I have received mine but I have not gone through all the details. Saying the notice was not sent is not true, we received it much earlier.

“According to the requirement, members (of the august House) must be given ample time,” he said.

He was referring to a certain claim made by the Opposition that they have yet receive the notice on the DUN sitting.

“I don’t monitor the Opposition but if I received mine (notice), they should have received theirs too.

“The notice (should have been sent out) much earlier. Otherwise, how do they submit their questions?

“All members have submitted their questions…meaning the notice has reached everybody,” he added. — DayakDaily
