KUCHING, Feb 26: The Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, received a courtesy visit from the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, at his official residence today.
According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the visit is part of the routine official procedure conducted ahead of the Sarawak Cabinet Meeting (MMKN), in line with administrative practices and the provisions of the Sarawak Constitution.
During the nearly hour-long meeting, the Premier briefed the Governor on key papers and agenda items to be tabled at the upcoming MMKN session.
Both leaders also exchanged views on the progress of State government policies and initiatives, discussing strategic matters concerning Sarawak’s development and the welfare of its people. — DayakDaily
