KUCHING, June 9: A car in front of a petrol station along the Sri Aman-Kuching Road caught fire on Tuesday morning, prompting workers nearby to rush over to put out the fire.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the 10.46am fire started from the car engine bay and workers from nearby shophouses managed to put it out by using four canisters of fire extinguishers.
Bomba later reached the scene and aided in putting out the fire. About 10 per cent of the car engine was destroyed.—DayakDaily
