KUCHING, Sept 10: Good Samaritan Chapel in Bintulu received RM200,000 in funds from Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) on Saturday (Sept 9).
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the funding is to help finance the church’s building construction.
The cheque was handed over by Unifor director Datuk Jack Aman Luat to a church committee member during a simple ceremony witnessed by Deputy Minister for Infrastructure and Port Development Dato Majang Renggi.
For the record, construction on the church started on Dec 31, 2022 and was completed in May this year. — DayakDaily
