KUCHING, Feb 9: The Ghazali brothers are steadily building their reputation in Thailand following a string of impressive wins.

At ONE Friday Fights 141 last Friday (Feb 6), Johan ‘Jojo’ Ghazali added another win to his name by defeating Myanmar’s Ye Yint Naung at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium.

According to ONE Championship, Jojo displayed composed counterstriking, strong defence, and effective body attacks to control the flyweight Muay Thai bout, pulling clear in the later rounds, where the judges awarded him a unanimous decision win.

The win improved Jojo’s professional record to 27-9 and marked a positive start to his 2026 campaign.

The following night (Feb 7), his brothers, Miki and Elias, took part in the Rajadamnern World Series (RWS), reported TVS.

Miki made his RWS debut by defeating Iran’s Reza Dostielmi via majority decision after a closely contested bout.

He appeared more composed and aggressive, particularly in the third round, where a series of well-timed elbow strikes shifted the momentum of the fight and gave him a clear advantage on the scorecards.

Meanwhile, Elias demonstrated strong mental and physical resilience in a fast-paced and evenly matched clash against Japanese-born fighter Haru Hakita.

After the first and second rounds ended in draws, the bout was decided by a ‘Judgement Round’, or deciding round, to separate the two fighters.

The decisive moment ultimately went in Elias’ favour, as he landed more clean and effective strikes than his opponent, allowing him to earn higher scores and secure the victory.

Later, Jojo took to Instagram to celebrate his victory alongside his brothers’.

“We didn’t come to take part, we came to take over. Ghazali blood runs strong. Hat trick. Alhamdullilah,” he wrote. — DayakDaily
